Wow, Jill. That last sentence pulled at my heartstrings. Stunning writing 🤍 You have the perfect voice for your words xx (Sometimes I hear a narration and think, I never thought that voice would sound like that. I always smile, though. I love narration! I wish I were that brave. Can't stand my voice. I'd never get it published 🤭)

Jill, the language used here feels very much like walking on eggshells and dancing along the margins of the issue at heart. I feel unsettled from just reading it, which is what it often feels like when we try diverting ourselves away from our grief.

You have a knack for capturing a tone as well as conveying feelings through your poetry.
